Never heard of this festival.. we live across the RR tracks from Clintonville (Linden) and use to live in Clintonville for years. I see it’s fairly new but tell us more about what you do with Paw Paw’s and what kind of vendors will be at this festival. Sharing on my FB page.
The paw paw is related to the mango and tastes a bit like a banana. And custard. Banana custard. Culinarily speaking, you can do just about anything with a paw paw that you can do with a banana. Enjoy it raw. The pulp makes wonderful smoothies, pancakes, muffins, and sweet breads. You can also make puddings and ice cream and beer! Not too shabby for the fruit that calls Ohio home.
We ate it as jam in Florida. Yummy.

We need to get there today. We see paw paw bushes on hikes but have never seen the fruit. We’ve tried to make it to the festival near Athens or Albany but have never made it
Please do stop by to taste pawpaw drink – delicious – and talk to Ohio pawpaw association.
